Java User Group Cologne

"Die Java User Group Köln ist eine der sichtbarsten und aktivsten JUGs in der Welt. Die JUGC bietet alle sechs Wochen hochqualitative Vorträge mit weltbekannten Speakern kostenlos an. Zusammen mit ihrem Stammtisch, diversen Mailinglisten und der Web Site http://jugcologne.org bietet die JUGC eine Plattform rund um Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustauschs und Anlaufstation für Java Anfänger und Gurus. Die JUGC wurde gegründet und wird geführt von Michael Hüttermann, der sich sowohl als java.net JUGs Community Leader als auch als Sun Java Champion weltweit prägend in die Java Entwicklung und -Community einbringt. Er spricht auf der JavaOne in einer eigenen Session zum Thema JUGs und Community und ist erreichbar unter michael@huettermann.net.

Java User Group Stuttgart
The Java User Group Stuttgart (JUGS) is one of the most active ones in Europe. It was established in 1997 as an independent, non-profit organization. We aim to provide a forum to practitioners and other people interested in Java in which to exchange information and experiences as well as to facilitate contacts to innovative businesses in the region. We have regular meetings with talks and discussions, occasionally bigger events on current OO technology (e.g. with Kent Beck und Peter Coad) and since 1998 the Java Forum Stuttgart (JFS). The facts of the JFS 2007 conference – 1.100 visitors, 49 talks and 41 exhibiting companies - demonstrate its relevance far beyond the region.
